This is a Documented one owner California Car. While Not being 100% Original it is one of the nicest old survivors I have seen in years. Read On and you will decide.
327 V8, 3 Speed Manual Transmission, Both Tops (outstanding Condition) Wonder Bar Radio.
Radio and Tach do not work.
From the best I can see and what the original owner told me this car had it's engine rebuilt and painted in the late 70's . The Front end was damaged in 1966 and fixed at the Chevrolet dealership. ( they did a whole nose on it) then the Left fender was repainted in 2001 due to a scratch. Interior is all Original, Wipers Work, Signals Work, Horn Works. The Colume VIN Tag is missing so you will have to have another made.
I do not believe it has the Original Block but everything else is correct. You corvette buyer will know more than I do.
Runs drives and Stops. Has not been on the road in 6 years, so I would do a full Service on her. I am leaving it as found and have only washed the car and drained the gas.
This is a great car to restore or a good enough car to drive as is.

Historic Top Fuel Dragster
1960's Top Fuel Dragster
Here's your opportunity to own a piece of drag racing history.
This T/F dragster was campaigned by Prentiss Cunningham out of Lubbock Texas in late '60's early 70's. Cunningham had a few famous drivers including Kenny Bernstein and Raymond Beadle who both went onto become drag race legends. Raymond left front engine dragsters to drive the famous Blue Max funny car in later years. This dragster ran in late '60's through early '70's, just before rear engine cars became more popular.
The frame is a 200" SPE, built by Roy Fjastad out of Southern California. Car has a Tom Hanna body that has patches where cowl wing went through the body. The wing is not with the car and was added after the car was originally constructed. The famous upholsterer and drag racer, Tony Nancy supplied the seat which is original and in pristine condition with SEA HORSE logo intact. The rear wheels are unmolested Hallibrands in spectacular condition.
This dragster ran a 426 Keith Black engine but engine is not included with this sale. The rear end is a Chrysler 8 3/4 with disc brakes. All the parts that I have are shown in the picutures. I have other historical information and pictures that I will supply to the successful bidder. The car can also be seen on the Stephens and Venables dragster restoration web page @ www.aafueler.com. Just click on the section titled "A look back at Texas drag racing" and scroll down to picture with Raymond Beadle behind the wheel.
The car could be a neat Cacklefest car and with a 426 engine, it would be a stand out from the numerous 392 engine powered dragsters.
